I am thrilled to bring Design Dash to Sioux City for the first time on May 2, 2025 – and your students won’t want to miss it!
Hosted at Northwest AEA, this one-day, high-energy entrepreneurial event challenges students to think like innovators as they collaborate with industry professionals to solve real-world problems. It’s hands-on, fast-paced, and completely free thanks to our generous sponsors.
What is Design Dash?
A startup-style experience where students work in teams with business and industry partners.
An opportunity for students to develop problem-solving, creativity, and leadership skills in an authentic, experiential setting.
Educators actively participate in the experience – and can even earn graduate credit for their involvement!
Who Should Attend?
If you teach Business, Entrepreneurship, Work-Based Learning, Capstone (PBL), iJag, Engineering, Art, Industrial Tech, TAG, or any CTE course, Design Dash is for you and your students!
Each teacher can register up to 10 students, and spots will be confirmed based on the registration date and school representation.
Design Dash is perfect for students who are:

- Select the students you will bring (up to 10).
- Compile the necessary information (names, t-shirt sizes, media release permissions - check with your school).
- Return to the DesignDash webpage or the link below and register your students. Student registrations must be completed Four Weeks before the event.
