Prairie Lakes AEA connects school leaders to resources that enhance the effectiveness of their work of directing, supporting, and sustaining district-wide and/or building-wide school improvement. By providing professional learning, consultation on compliance issues and networking outlets,  we support district and building leadership teams in enhancing the knowledge and skills needed to enhance the effectiveness of their work of directing, supporting and sustaining district-wide and/or building-wide school improvement.

Superintendents

Superintendent meetings are held from 9:30 a.m.-noon September-May in the Pocahontas office. Lunch is provided. The superintendents also meet weekly at 8:30 a.m. each Tuesday via Zoom.

Team members from Iowa’s AEAs facilitate a Special Education Network via Zoom. The network will be from 1-2:30 p.m. the dates listed below.  Following these SpEd Network meetings will be a separate Zoom collaboration time from 2:30-3:00.
