Districts Offer Phonemic Awareness Opportunity

On Aug. 21, preschool-first grade teachers in the Humboldt and Algona schools are being offered the opportunity to receive professional supports with a company trainer around the Heggerty's Phonemic Awareness resources. The districts welcome others who are interested in learning about the 35 daily lessons around explicit Phonemic Awareness. These lessons require very little preparation and can be delivered to your students in 10-12 minutes each day.

Check out the agenda at shorturl.at/efoBV.

This session would be focused on preschool, transitional,  kindergarten, first and second grade teachers, and those who teach, ELL, Title 1, and Special Education. Instructional Coaches, Principals, and PLAEA staff are also welcom.
