Dr. Ross Greene featured at online FOCUS conference
The FOCUS 2020 conference WILL BE OFFERED online on June 24-25. We're thrilled to share that Dr. Ross Greene will still be joining this online learning, and we are making arrangements for a private screening of his documentary, "The Kids We Lose." We are also contact with our other planned keynotes (Jessican Minahan and Dr. Matthew Vasquez) to determine how they might make learning and insights available. Please continue to follow Educator Connection and watch our PLAEA social media channels (Twitter and Facebook) for more details.
About the FOCUS Conference
FOCUS (the Prairie Lakes AEA Summer Learning Conference) aims to bring educators, counselors, administrators, and other leaders in Education together to engage in learning around the most current and pressing challenges that face us in today’s classrooms. Attendees will be inspired by three nationally recognized keynote speakers, screen a documentary, connect with colleagues and fellow educators, and engage in learning through dozens of breakout sessions. With the following theme: A Clear Vision of Trauma-Informed Education, FOCUS 2020 attendees will leave with a toolbox of strategies to embed Social and Emotional Learning into their daily routine and a renewed spirit and mindset on how to create a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters Social-Emotional-Behavioral Health for ALL students, faculty, and school community members.
