KidWind STEM Festival held in Estherville
Are you interested in having your students work on a project that involves getting a better understanding of renewable energy? If so, KidWind is a great avenue for that to happen. There is going to be a KidWind STEM Festival students can attend in Estherville this spring.
Please see the download for more information. It is open to students in grades 4-12. There will be a high school and middle school division for students to compete in. Students compete in teams, which is shown in the registration.
During the festival, students will also be engaged in different renewable energy activities as well as touring one of the best renewable energy education programs in the country at Iowa Lakes Community College.
If you are new to KidWind, but this looks like something you would be interested in doing, please let me know and we can talk more about implementing KidWind. Here are some resources from KidWind you may be interested in for storyline/lesson ideas.
