Prairie Lakes Area Education Agency

Interested in a stipend for Drake Computer Science course?

Prairie Lakes AEA is collaborating with Drake University to request grant funding that would offer sixty teachers the opportunity to complete university level computer science courses at no cost.

This funding will be obtained through the use of a stipend if PLAEA is awarded the Computer Science Professional Development Incentive Fund (CSPDIF).

Please complete this form if you are interested in receiving a potential stipend to attend one of the following three computer science courses from Drake University this summer:

Computer Science in the Elementary Classroom, Secondary Computer Science Methods, or Introduction to Computer Science.

The computer sciences courses can be applied to a CS endorsement path when it becomes available from Drake University. Your help filling out this form helps with data collection needed for the grant proposal along with giving Prairie Lakes AEA teachers the first opportunity to claim a course seat! Mid-December is when the winning CSPDIF grant applications will be announced.
