FASTBridge/Student Success update

Please contact Tabitha DeMey for further information and assistance.

  • Districts will need to set up permission in their SIS (Student Information System) & connect users to their portal accounts.  Directions & Links to other supports can be accessed here:  Quick Start: Access to Student Success and FAST for LEA Users

  • Beginning this fall, FAST users will access the assessment suite directly through the Iowa Education Portal.  Direct logins to FAST will no longer work.

  • Rollovers in FastBridge and Student Success should be complete.  If you do not see your rosters, make sure your SIS is rolled over and sending 20-21 data, and your students are enrolled and scheduled to classes. If you have concerns, please submit a support ticket through FAST or Student Success (depending on the location of the issue).

  • Attendance and behavior Early Warning System data for all K-6 schools are now available in Student Success!  Training sessions for these upgrades, as well as refreshers on existing key features will allow users to be prepared to regularly support students and monitor system health across multiple data streams through MTSS in Panorama’s Student Support Platform.  The target audience includes district & school leaders, data coaches, and others.  The webinar dates/times are listed below and will be recorded and stored in the Student Success Library.  Register at:

    • August 17, 2:00pm

    • August 20, 10:00am

    • August 24, 2:00pm

    • August 27, 10:00am

    • August 31, 2:00pm

    • September 3, 10:00am

  • Several administrators have asked for a toolkit for teacher teams to support basic functionality.  PLAEA Panorama Support Quick Links has been developed based on this feedback.  Please note...this document does not replace the content delivered during the upcoming webinars.

  • FAST Certification will not immediately carry over.  The process will begin in late August to match old assessment certification when possible.  It is always OK (and encouraged) to recertify on any assessment.

  • Default assessments reporting in CASA closed 7/31. Most districts have completed this operation. Each building principal had to edit/confirm the default assessments for their building and the district superintendent had to confirm at the district level. Please check with your district team and confirm that this is complete, and make sure all staff are aware of the selected default assessments prior to screening.
