Math curriculum adoption topic of Jan. 7 meeting

The Prairie Lakes AEA Math Team is excited to have the opportunity to facilitate a conversation with area curriculum directors about curriculum adoption. The meeting will take place face-to-face at the Pocahontas AEA office from 10 a.m.-noon on Jan. 7, 2022. At this time, we plan to focus our discussions around curriculum options at the K-8 level.

10 a.m.-noon  Math Curriculum discussion

PLAEA Consultants will share adoption process considerations and tools. A panel of Curriculum Directors/Instructional Coaches who have recently adopted will answer predetermined general adoption questions. Participants will rotate through stations to hear about four different schools' experiences with their K-6/K-8 curriculums. The following curriculums will be discussed: Illustrative Math, EnVision, iReady, and Eureka
