Yearbooks/Memory Books will be a treasured item for your children when they are older and have fond memories of school and friends.
Prairie Lakes AEA can produce this project at remarkably low prices. Significant savings can be achieved by school staff/students or parent-support/committee working and collaborating in the construction of the finished project as an electronic or hard copy.
The most common and least expensive is saddle stitched. Two staples are placed in the fold of the pages. This method will be used for books up to 48 INSIDE PAGES PLUS COVER.
Another method is spiral bind. This requires physical labor and therefore is more costly. This will be used for all books that are more than 48 inside pages.
The last method is to have a hard cover attached by stitching. We have several schools that have used Dilley Manufacturing (www.dilleybooks.com) in Des Moines to produce this type of book. Dilley’s contact person is Jean Deeds and she can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or (800-247-5087).
Contact Jenifer Krischel for estimate of inside pages.
